In 2004 the State of Michigan passed new legislation to create certain renaissance zones to foster economic opportunities in Michigan for small manufacturing companies. As a direct result of this bill the "Michigan Tooling Group" was formed in 2005. We are a collaboration of fourteen companies located throughout the state. The group consists of tool & die, mold, precision gaging, cutting tools, wire EDM, sinker EDM, laser cutting, water-jet cutting, automation and testing equipment companies.
